202412 - CORNER KITCHEN WITH ISLAND AND WALL UNIT

Design: Yaron Iftach Ben-Gera

In a villa in the heart of the Mediterranean, blue is the fil rouge of the architectural and interior design project: a boundless space between sea and sky as the stage for domestic life. A treasure chest that holds a TM Italia kitchen with a large convivial island and equipped wall.

The kitchen island is a riot of blue set in a casket of light. The kitchen, set in a bright open space, is designed for conviviality and acts as a link between the living area and the outdoor space.

THE ISLAND: THE HEART OF THE PROJECT

The large island conceived on the K6 model in Fes blue laminate is surmounted by a precious worktop in Quarzite Azul Macaubas.
The composition of base units has been developed to allow a worktop overhang that can accommodate a banquet for up to 7 people.
The island is equipped with storage compartments and drawers, while the top accommodates an induction hob, an integrated sink and a pull-out electric tower.

THE FRAME OF LIGHT

The tall units of the D90 model with customised handles are equipped with two ovens and a pair of retracting doors revealing a niche with a pull-out stainless steel top and Cemento finish interior.

The base units of the K6 model in Fenix Argento Dukat laminate finish placed under the window house a flush-mount sink and an induction hob with integrated hood. The wall unit above the sink with two doors and open compartments was designed on the D90 model in Cemento finish.

The composition is completed by a system of wall units made to design in which storage compartments and open display compartments alternate.

THE WORKTOP: THE NATURAL STONE JEWEL

This variety of quartzite, one of the most precious in the world, is known for its sophisticated shades ranging from white to grey with gradations of blue and light blue and subtle sand-gold veins, creating a harmonious and natural visual effect. The polished and smooth texture of the top gives it a refined and modern look that recalls the infinite play of colours of the marine surface.

‘A private house in Ramat Hasharon intended for a family with young children who enjoy hosting friends and relatives. The 1970s house has been completely renovated to achieve a modern style and luxury appeal. The modern style is characterised by clean, straight and precise lines. In the functionality and connection of materials, metal, glass, concrete and wood, the prominent colour of the house is blue, inspired by the sea and the sky to create calm and flowing atmospheres.’

Yaron Yiftach Ben-Gera is a designer of villas, houses, commercial spaces and offices, known for his unique and forward-thinking approach. With roots in the world of theatre and acting, Yaron sees home design as an art form closely linked to the stage. ‘The home is the stage and the clients are the main actors. From the lighting to the accessories, everything is taken care of down to the last detail to serve the plot and create an elegant, comfortable and practical environment,’ he says. This theatrical perspective underpins his creative process and drives his ability to create visionary and deeply personal spaces.
