202303 - INTERIOR: KITCHEN WITH PENINSULA, LIVING ROOM AND BATHROOM CABINETS, BEDROOM FURNITURE
Partner: On Site Architettura & Design
Design: arch. Virgino Sessa
In one of the most elegant districts of Naples, TM Italia has collaborated on an interior design project characterized by overall aesthetic continuity and unique custom-made solutions.
The project includes the fit up of the kitchen, living room, study, sleeping area and bathrooms. The leitmotif of all the environments is the continuity of the materials and sartorial details.
KITCHEN WITH A BESPOKE ISLAND
The corner layout kitchen with peninsula separated from the living room by elegant glass doors feature custom-made Noce Canaletto walnut tall units that divide the space into two volumes accessible via a door integrated in the composition. The flip-door-wall units, the worktop and the back panel are made of glossy Sahara Noir stoneware which, with its decisive and refined veining in shades of grey, cream and caramel, adds a touch of elegance to the entire environment. The smoked glass top storages are equipped with integrated lighting.
The peninsula made entirely in stoneware is accurately designed following irregular geometries that create a seating space and volumes with a strong scenic presence. It houses an assembled stoneware sink and an induction hob with integrated extraction. The kitchen environment is completed by a retractable table in Canaletto walnut veneer which can be pulled out when necessary and closed again with simple gestures.
LIVING: SOPHISTICATED MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGICAL DETAILS
The elegant living area was set up with a custom TV wall in continuity with the general palette of colours and finishes. A system of wall units with flap doors and two descending elements with open shelves frame the Sahara Noir stoneware wall. The warm veins of both finishes match the shelves with the oxidized brass metallic finish.
The bar cabinet features fronts in ribbed rosewood and polygonal doors covered in leather with structure in oxidized brass. The upper surface in Sahara Noir stoneware is set up with a central module that can be pulled out through a remote controlled electro-assisted mechanism and equipped with a glass racks and shelves for bottles.
STUDIO: HYPERRATIONAL SPACES AND TAILOR-MADE DETAILS
One of the characteristics of this environment is the thoughtful subdivision of the spaces which, thanks to the custom-made furniture, makes perfect use of every centimetre. The study area that divides the living room from the master bedroom is on a mezzanine and takes advantage of the generous height of the architectural space. The study is set up with an open bookcase with storage doors, a staircase bookcase, a backlit wine display wall, a balustrade with display cases. The furniture is all coordinated in Rosewood essence, oxidized brass metal elements and smoked Stopsol glass.
MASTER BEDROOM: CHARM WITHOUT COMPROMISE
The Canaletto walnut elements form a precious frame of the sleeping area: a suspended cabinet with two drawers and a mirror; a sought-after dressing table with retractable doors in bronzed glass; a system of shelves and false ceilings that create appealing airy volumes.
The dressing table is set up with internal drawers, shelves, a flap top, mirror and pouf. Canaletto walnut is combined with Sahara Noir stoneware for the sides and oxidized brass for the coordinated metal elements.
Adjacent to the headboard of the bed, a large walk-in closet has been set up with wainscoting and storage units in Canaletto walnut, surmounted by a system of customized lacquered wall units.
The refined style and sartorial details are also present on the walls of the entrance corridor connecting the sleeping area with the rest of the apartment. Embellished with Rosewood paneling applied on oxidized brass finished frames and Sahara Noir stoneware panels, it mirrors the general mood of the house.
Also the bathroom harmoniously follows the same refinement as the other premises. A space optimized in every millimeter is set up with a wall cabinet with doors and open shelves; a suspended unit in Canetè Canaletto Walnut and Sahara Noir stoneware top with washbasin; backlit mirror on a back panel in Sahara Noir.
The entire interior design was studied in detail both regarding the articulated architectural partitions, the refinement of the lighting aspects, the harmony of materials and finishes, and for the accurate choice of the fit up and accessories.
